Location: North Tampa

Schedule:  Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: 

 

 The Office Manager & Bookkeeper will oversee daily administrative operations, manage office resources, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks to support a small family company. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of general accounting principles.

 

What you will be doing:

 

Office Management

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal staff, vendors, and visitors.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory; place orders as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain and update company records, files, and databases.
  • Perform related duties as required.

Bookkeeping & Financial Support

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including data entry and invoice management.
  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Prepare and maintain basic financial reports for management review.
  • Assist Controller as needed for month-end and year-end processes.

 

What you will need: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Five (5) years of relevant office management or administrative experience preferred.
  • Basic bookkeeping/accounting experience required; QuickBooks or similar software proficiency preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
